We are a small rural primary school offering a stimulating and nurturing environment for all children. Our committed team of staff, governors and parents work together to offer the children a broad and balanced curriculum intended to inspire a life-long enthusiasm for learning and exploration.
We value our place at the heart of the local community and make full use of our rich and varied historical heritage and local environment. We seek to extend the opportunities for learning through the delivery of a range of varied extra-curricular activities designed to appeal to all tastes and interests.
If you would like to find out more about our school, please explore our website or, better still, give us a call and arrange a visit.
We look forward to meeting you.

We enjoyed a very exciting and inspirational visit from the Kurume Shinai High School Choir from Japan. The children in the choir joined us for lunch and then treated us to a stunning performance of Japanese and English songs. In the evening, the visiting choir was joined by our own school choir for a unique cross-cultural performance at The Edge Arts Centre. Both choirs had worked hard to master a song in each language and the impact of the combined performance will be a lasting memory for everyone fortunate enough to experience the event.
Children in Key Stage 2 enjoyed a 'Tudor Day' as the culmination of their study of the Tudor period. Children dressed up in Tudor costumes and attended a number of workshops throughout the day. Parents were invited into school during the morning to view the children's work and Shire Services provided a special 'Tudor Menu' at lunchtime.
